Duration
September 2006 – December 2006 (four months)
Project Objectives
To create a better understanding of the negative effects of racist behavior.
To actively inform and involve sports fans about racism and how they can help combat it.
To involve the national soccer society in promoting a culture of peace and tolerance.
Plan of Action
The project aims to produce a short, informative film that will show to the public the issues of racism in the stadium – a film in which soccer fans, players, and directors from around the world will be included. The film will be directed by Luigi Falorni (director of The Story of the Camel that Cries, nominated for an Oscar in 2005).
