Project Adopt a Child

Long Distance adoption means to give hope and the possibility to face the future for those born into a difficult reality of poverty and disease.
Long Distance Adoptions are effective means to combat malnutrition and illiteracy, and to help the children grow in a dignified manner in their homeland.
Besides providing the child with sustenance, the Long Distance Adoption Project provides for medical expenses coverage for the adopted child and siblings – thanks to collaboration with Eritrean pediatricians.

Regulations

- Those who decide to adopt a child through our association will have to pay an annual amount of € 360,00 or monthly installments of € 30,00. The installments should be paid through our postal checking account n° 22166508 and made payable to Annulliamo La Distanza Onlus in semiannual payments by Dec. 10 (first half: € 180,00) and 10 June (second half: € 180,00) or annual (€ 360,00) or through our bank checking account, made payable to Annuliamo La Distanza c/c  n. 926 CAB 02800 ABI 06020 CIN P IBAN: IT10P0602002800048570000926  through CARIPRATO agency in Florence.

- The money will be used to sustain the child and their family, as well as to cover medical expenditures for the adopted child and siblings, whenever the need arises. The donation will be handed over by our agent on location together with our volunteers directly to the parents of the child. 

- We ask You to write a letter of introduction because the children are very happy to have news of their adoptive parents.

- The volunteers of Annuliamo La Distanza will personally deliver the donations to Eritrea during their frequent missions and will monitor the health of the children and their living conditions.

- Those who decide to adopt a child with our association are not required to do so for a minimum number of years, but we do ask you for the courtesy to notify us in advance so that the children are not left unprovided for.

- Privacy: personal data is collected only to promote the initiatives of our association and is handled with the utmost confidentiality. In compliance with law 675/96, which safeguards personal data, it is possible to be removed by writing to Annulliamo La Distanza at the following address:
